The New Hanover County 4-H Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the inaugural NHC 4-H Alumni & Friends “Meet & Greet” from 2–5 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Olivia Burns

New Hanover County 4-H Advisory Council member & 4-H Alumni, John Lenfestey presents 4-H’er Olivia B. her Talent Show championship award at the 2018 County Activity Day.

The purpose of the event is to unite people who believe strongly in promoting and supporting the 4-H program. We believe this can take many forms on the local, county, and state levels, including mentoring, volunteering, conducting project groups, coaching judging teams, becoming financial supporters, and leading special interest groups, workshops, field days, etc.

Committee members are thrilled to announce the launch of “Alumni & Friends” Spotlights! These Spotlights will highlight and update the wonderful things 4-H Alumni and Friends are doing out in the world. Spotlights will be featured on the New Hanover County 4-H website, the New Hanover County 4-H Facebook page, Twitter, the New Hanover County Arboretum website and Facebook page, and local news agencies.

We want YOU to be a part of the fellowship, refreshments, and fun!
