4-H youth pose together during New Hanover County's 4-H District Activity Day.

New Hanover County 4-H was well represented with six 4-H youth, five parents, along with their 4-H agent during the SED 4-H District Activity in Kinston on Friday, June 24th.

Congratulations to our six youth who participated in 4-H Presentations and 4-H Entertains!

Grayson Brazik won Gold for his Ag Science Presentation (14-18 yo)
Violetta Baillon won Gold for her Food Science Presentation (11-13 yo)
Owen Baillon won Bronze for his Open Class Presentation (8-10 yo)
Alexis Wright won 4th place for her Small & Companion Animal Presentation (11-13 yo)
Sara Bergstrom (vocal & guitar) received Blue Ribbon for 4-H Entertains
Quinn Brazik (violin) received Blue Ribbon for 4-H Entertains

As gold medalist, Grayson and Violetta advance to the NC 4-H State Presentation contest in July!

Congratulations New Hanover County 4-H presenters and performers you were phenomenal!

Approximately 300 youth, parents, volunteers, and agents attended this district-wide event. The Southeast District consist of 18 counties.
