Have you dreamed of working in, around, or for the ocean? Step into the roles of marine science professionals to explore the day-to-day tasks of research, education, fieldwork, lab work, and animal care. Get your feet wet with introductory experience that can help inform decisions on your own path to becoming a future marine scientist. We will explore local ocean hotspots like the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, join in on the 4-H Island and Sound Exploration program to visit an uninhabited island, and more!
Details:Young people ages 13-15 are invited to join us to dive into the exciting learning opportunities and activities this camp offers from August 12th – 16th at the N.C. Cooperative Extension New Hanover County Office and Arboretum (6206 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403)! Cost associated for this 5 day camp is $350/camper. However, scholarships are available!
