4-H County Activity Day, Presentations & Talent Show. May 21, 2022.Twelve 4-H youth braved the stage on Saturday, 21 May 2022 as New Hanover County 4-H hosted County Activity Day. Seven youth competed with power point, posters and props on a variety of subjects including kamado dragons, pros & cons of online learning, rabbits, and lemon poppy seed muffins. We are excited to showcase New Hanover County’s talented youth in this year’s 4-H Talent Show during County Activity Day. Talent acts ranged from singing/guitar, key board, cello and violin.

The journey to public speaking success does not stop here. The top presenters from each age division/category and talent winners will advance to districts at the Lenoir Community College on Friday, 24 June 2022.

As part of county activity day, members from the New Hanover County 4-H Advisory Committee, Cooperative Extension Advisory Committee, and 4-H volunteers assisted with judging and recognition of those outstanding 4-H club members and their achievements with their ribbons and certificates as their names were announced.
