Drug Take Back Event

Improperly disposed medicines can adversely affect the environment and increase the risk of drug misuse or accidental poisoning.  N.C. Cooperative Extension is teaming up with Cape Fear River Watch to help people dispose of their unused medications safely at our Drug Take-Back Event on April 1st from 12noon  - 2 p.m. at the New Hanover County Arboretum.  You can drop off any unused, expired, or unwanted solid or liquid medication.  No sharps please or biohazards, please.
