N.C. Cooperative Extension, New Hanover County is currently in the middle of its nine week Gardening Foundations course, and we are opening one session to the public: Integrated Pest Management (IPM) on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:45 PM ET, live via Zoom.
This session covers Chapter 8, Integrated Pest Management, from the North Carolina Extension Gardener Handbook, and it has been approved by the NC Department of Agriculture for pesticide applicator credit in the following categories:
- L: 1.0
- N: 1.0
- D: 1.0
- X: 1.0
Pesticide applicators are welcome to register for just this one session to earn credit. The course fee is $40. If you would like to see more of the course, you also have the option of joining the remaining weeks of Gardening Foundations, with access to recordings of the sessions you missed.
