1. Winter Vegetable Gardening
Don't put your garden to bed just yet! Discover how to make the most of New Hanover County's mild coastal climate. Late August and early September are the ideal times for sowing winter vegetable crops in coastal NC. This session covers cold-hardy vegetable selection, soil preparation, frost protection, and planting calendars to keep your garden producing fresh produce all winter long.

2. Veggies 201: Beyond the Basics of Vegetable Gardening at Home
If you’ve already mastered the basics of vegetable gardening and are ready to optimize your yield, Veggies 201 is for you. This in-depth course moves beyond introductory concepts to explore research-based strategies, including intensive seasonal crop rotation, advanced soil fertility management, precision water conservation, and proactive Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
