Corning Incorporated Foundation Supports NHC 4-H

Corning Incorporated Foundation Provides Program Support for New Hanover County 4-H's Summer Camps!

New Hanover County 4-H Youth Development is honored to have Corning Incorporated Foundation provide program support for our 2022 4-H Summer Programs. Their generosity helped New Hanover County 4-H deliver hands-on educational research-based programs to approximately 440 youth, ages 5-15, living in underserved communities this summer.

Aided by Corning Incorporated Foundation’s program support, New Hanover County 4-H was able to partner with Maides Park (Davis Recreation Center) and the MLK Center to deliver quality 4-H programming this summer. A total of 16 individual day camps provided campers a variety of topics to discover from foods and nutrition to ecology, to arts, to veterinary science. These 4-H Summer Camps gave campers the opportunity to experience resources, explore topics, and learn about potential career opportunities which might have been unavailable to them without the support of Corning Incorporated Foundation.

Without the positive support from Corning Incorporated Foundation, New Hanover County 4-H would not be able to provide healthy activities, build positive youth development, and enhance the lives of youth.

From our family at New Hanover County 4-H Youth Development, we want to extend our deep appreciation for your program support.
