The year is coming to an end and you know what that means for 4-H’ers across our state?? That means 4-H Project Record Books are due! Did you know this is a great way to show off what you have learned this year in 4-H? I want to challenge all our 4-H’ers to consider completing a 4-H Project Record Book this year. Not only because you will receive a certificate, Clover Cash, a ribbon, a small prize, and if you are 8 and up you have a chance to go to District with the possibility of to winning $50 in cash, but also because it shows your growth in the 4-H program throughout the year and years if you complete one or more of these books a year. The topics you can complete a 4-H Project Record Book are endless. Did you do a lot cooking with 4-H this year? You can do a record book on that! Did you show a lamb and worked with it this year? That is another great topic for a record book! Did you learn a lot about bees, leadership, community service, or something else? Those and more are great topics for a 4-H Project Record Book. You are also not limited to one 4-H Project Record Book, you can do as many as you want! Each will receive Clover Cash.

Here are some helpful documents to get you started! The rules, forms, score sheets, and categories are included in this post. Would you like to see a 4-H Project Record Book or watch videos on how to fill one out? Please let Ms. Madaline know and she will make sure you have those items. She can be reached at madaline_jones@ncsu.edu or by phone at 336-849-7809.
