Childhood Obesity Summit: January 15, 2013

Obesity continues to be a problem locally and worldwide.  Children are particularly vulnerable, with their food options mostly managed by the adults in their lives.  Fortunately, there are some local resources available to combat the obesity problem by teaching how to live a healthier lifestyle.  We invite you to attend the 3rd Annual Childhood Obesity Summit being held at the New Hanover County Government Center January 15, 2013 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm where we will discuss programming available to local residents.  Registration for the Summit is required with a small fee.  Online registration is available at http://www.newhanoverkids.org/FECPWorkshopReg.html

For more information about the event, please watch the recent interview conducted on Leading By Results.
